In Florida: Level 2 screenings are conducted for positions that involve significant levels of trust & responsibility.      Jobs that involve working with children, elderly persons, or other vulnerable populations.

A Level 2 background check is an in depth search.  It include fingerprint-based searches of records maintained by the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement, national FBI criminal history searches & county criminal record searches.
